Like many bloggers I was asked to come check out the Culture Shock Event. Details here, Culture Shock
What I personally loved about going to the event was the lack of other people. Since it doesn't officially open till the 4th.
I want to point out some stores that really stuck out for me at the event.
LaGyo has a ring called the cube ring. It's one of those sl things you hope you can find in rl. You should defiantly get it. It's color change and goes with everything.
Mon's has to be my new favorite. I can't decide which I love better the make-up, jewelry, or the clothing. Be sure to go by there.

I decided to make each look I blog for the event to have a little shock value. This one. My shoes don't "match". :D
I also wanted to highlight these shorts or skirt or skort that I have one by Ricielli. There is a lot of different patterns to choose from. Truly something for everyone.
Sachy loves the marshmallows in his cereal. When I say his cereal I mean really his cereal. Sachy O's. The cereal the cool kids eat. Luck was on his side for st. patty's day when Mom found him a website where all they sale is the marshmallows. Check it out here. The whole site is funny. Especially the YouTube videos.

As always thank you Mom and Sachy for helping with the shoot. Pretty fail though that it took three of us to make one bowl of cereal.
The drippings noise from the roof is soothing. Still, I will fix it tomorrow, before the third shift in the night sky. Chitting the herbaceous fetuses has kept myself busy. I'm thankful for my helper Pox. She sings a sweet song in her native tongue to calm the baby sunflowers. She also waters the mother tree with the red river daily. The mother's breast becomes engorged every other day now. I feed the fetuses her milk. I would drink it myself if it didn't make me violently ill. That mistake will never be made again.
It is the anniversary of Trams death. He was the last of the injured. He and I were alone for two years before the second colony came. Without him the first year I would have been lost. Now there is just me. And Pox. I am fine with that. People only die and leave you with their memory burned into your eyes.
I love getting together with people and seeing my visions come to life. Thank you Mom (Cady) Hempy, and Sachy♥ for helping me put this together. And thank you DECO!!!!! I love the greenhouse and have always wanted to use it.

Sachy and I are doing so great. I love him so good. He's given me a nickname Poptart Princess. :)
School closed. So no more OSHS or OSE. I was really liking my classes. So boo to that!
I've been getting more voice gigs in sl. It's a real fun experience.

Sachy leaving the family
I'm going through this should I grow up or stay a second life teen.
So, at the moment I feel like I'm suspended in air looking down. The goal was to work out some issues and grow up. The when is still not known.
Cady and Mike love me like I'm their own. Ask anyone that knows us. There is even a running joke that Dad (Mike) actually birthed me...out his butt. Making me (hardy har har) his butt baby.
These two people helped me feel comfortable enough to just be who I am without limits. With all my quirky and odd missteps. I'll be forever grateful to them and to second life for that.
And to all the people that say second life families are creepy.

So, I am staying a teen. Seventeen to be exact. I started Ocean Side High School. I've got a dorm there but I also have a bedroom at Mom's house. Speaking of Mom's house. We live on the same sim as mom's mom and mom's moms mom..(did that make sense?) I love the land and the house. Wait. Have I mentioned my Meme?
Meme ( sl name Gigi) is my moma's moma. She's southern like me. :) She is the best grandmother to all of us kids. I think it's safe to say Rune, Mom, and Saphy also think she is an awesome Mom.
There came a point where a shift happened with Sachy. I think back at this one time where he jokingly told me he had a crush on me. I was teasing him about it...cause I didn't think it was true. Once my parents broke up, Sachy and I didn't know if we were going to be kids of divorced parents. We both went back and forth on what we wanted to do. There was talks of leaving the family all together. Growing up was majorly discussed. I know that I wanted to be there for Mom but it just wasn't happening. I was just plain out...pissed off.
It seems like things are going good with Dad and Mom by the way. They are dating at the moment. Taking things slow.
So that left Sachy and I to look long and hard as to what we meant to each other. When you choose your family in sl it's more or less people you really love spending time with. People you mesh with. Sometimes feelings develop and you have to stop being family.
We are trying to find our place in each others lives. God we fight. So bad. We make up just as hard. Not sure I've ever known someone like Sachy. I'd say he would say the same about me.
Along came Will.
Will is a second life football player for the Bucs and is co owner of Gameshack with Sachy and Gunner. Will is coming off a bad break up and he is just trying to have fun and be chill. He's single girls and one of the nicest guys I know. Oh and the Bucs won their last game and that means they will be going to the Superbowl with the Redskins. I really want to go to the Superbowl but it conflicts with somewhere I would rather be. Auntie Saphy's and Uncle Tai's wedding. :D :D :D :D :D :D Will is so sweet. He totally understands.
He and I went to Pixel Prom together. It was so much fun. There was so many people there. I swear I think it should have been called Plurk Prom.

I like to make signs when I go to games. I made one for Dad's game too. Dad's team, the Panthers really made a comeback this year after a rocky start. We are super proud of number 8. :D
Sad there won't be a Panther's team next year.
Will and I went to his friends wedding this weekend and to a Mardi Gras party where he won bes Mari Gras costume male.
He has this really great hug hud. This is my favorite pose.
Gameshack is going good. There was a in-promptue Karaoke night. I was tped to Watershead by my new friend California. A bunch of people tped in at the same time. They all decided collectively after pushing each other around and calling each other faggots and heffers that they wanted to go to karaoke. I spoke up and mentioned the GameShake had Karaoke. So we all went there. It was chaos but lots of fun.
AberMatchy is going good. Building a decent database. I received a NC a few days ago asking if I would peripatetic in an event with a club. We are working out the details this week.

Speaking of receiving a NC and gameshack. I met a girl the other day at the Gameshack. She had on some clothing from a store I love, so we struck up a conversation. A few days later she sent me a NC from her while I was offline. It took me back a little. I wanted to share it with you.
Hey, so im not sure what prompted me to write this but here goes:
When we met, we instantly talked of fashion, our love for paperbag and imbue). Im a profile stalker, so I stalked your profile, and seen you blogged. I read a few entries then put it off, and decided to read some more today, and I must say: for about the past 2 hours, ive done nothing but sit here and read every entry LOL.
It kinda made me sad. I never did the SL high school thing, and its hard for me to meet guys on here to date. I also havent had a small close group of girlfriends in about two years. I had a group of about 5 of us, but drama happened, and it was a mess. Since then I stopped talking to everyone! I cleared my friend's list and now, its hard for me to meet people. Ive thought of going to SL football games, clubs and such but im too shy to come outright and meet people. I am almost sure I might apply to a sorority.
Im not sure why I am telling you all of this, but maybe its because I could relate so much to your blog. I am currently seeking a family, although I have a mom, shes rarely on SL, and is more of a friend then a mom figure. I want siblings and a dad and all that fun stuff. I want to act crazy with people who care about me.
But yeah, this got super long, im not even sure the purpose. I enjoyed your blog, and I relate, I even cried at some parts D:

I told myself that I wasn't going to blog till AberMatchy was up. So that's why its been six weeks or more since my last post.
Many times I have delved into projects in SL and sadly didn't see them through. My fear of failure is small, my fear of success, it's mountain top high. Then again. I am a mountain top water drop.
My real life family being as successful as they are and knowing that blood doesn't run through my own veins. Has cause me to hold back. My dreams were never to own a business or make CEO. To be honest. When I was a little kid. I wanted to make movies, or write screen plays, or be a cartoonist. I spent my time drawing funny cartoons of friends and teachers.
One night when I was staying with my bio mom for the summer. Her new neighbor knocked on the door asking to borrow a couple of eggs. My bio mom was gone and I had some friends over. And yes we were getting stonned. I gave her a couple of eggs. She was nice, said thank you and left. My friends and I started hatching this plan where we would paint another egg with a scary face and place it on her door knob. (don't judge we were high) I guess it broke that morning. I never seen the mess or egg. I did get a note on my front door saying whoever painted the egg was really good. Which for some reason prompted me to write morbid tales to the new neighbor and stuffed them in her door. She would read them and would write me back asking for more.
She and I became good friends. She talked to me like I was her equal. We talked about art, movies, music. She had been places. Done things. She was and still is hippy esque. I could be me around her. I could like "weird" music. She would give me books to read that if my mother knew I was reading them. She's sick the hounds on my new friend. She let me sit in her air conditioned apartment, get high and draw. She'd hang stuff up I drew. She always had cute guys over. They would flirt with me like I was her age. It was really a turning point in my life.
Is this story becoming a lifetime movie script? I can't tell.
I'm letting my guard down slowly. I've met some really amazing people, who really just want to have fun and laugh. Be happy and form good solid bonds. They make me feel like if I fail or succeed that I'm going to be ok. And the way they feel about me isn't going to change.

The Fretwerk's Christmas party was really fun. We drew names for present giving. Aunt Saphy got my name and she gave me this great hud that fixes your eyes and lets you control other peoples eyes as well. She also gave me a plush Cow chair..I think it has magical powers. Every time I sit in it I get sleepy in rl.
Running Lady had a Christmas Party. It was really fun. Since I don't have a boyfriend. Mom made Sachy go with me. lol. Poor Sachy. He was nice enough to dance with me.
GameShack is where AberMatchy's office resides. There are tons of games and byngo. If you haven't played byngo. You should. It's really fun.
My sl dad Miketh, is a a big New Orleans Saints fan. Drew Brees broke Dan Marino's 27 year-old record for most passing yards in one season. To commemorate the day. We took a picture.
I've already got a few clients at AberMatchy. Some have went on dates already. I'm pretty excited that I can be a conduit for others to connect. I kinda think that might be the reason I exist. Oh that got me teary eyes. I'm a dork.
The robit and a dear friend of his Burke had a very interesting idea to raise money for relay for life. (It makes for a great gift for your valentine...or your secret crush *wink*) at 49 L and trans, its a steal and your giving to charity.
There is something about short shorts and high heels I love. I find legs sexy. And I don't think you have to have some stereotypical "slut-wear" to be sexy. Unless you are going for the lulz effect. Humor is sexy in my book.
